The Santa Clara County Office of Education (SCCOE) is pleased to announce the
2018 Young Artists Showcase Winners.
Congratulations to all our students in Santa Clara County. The judging committee was impressed by the talent, passion, and variety of “ART from the heART.” All submissions were valued and esteemed. We encourage all students to pursue the arts everyday.

About the 2018 Young Artist Showcase
Pre-Kindergarten through eighth grade teachers were encouraged to submit 2D, 3D or 4D student artwork for selection into the SCCOE's permanent collection. Submissions were limited to one art work per student, and up to 25 submissions per school.
All grade nine through twelfth grades students submitted their work via the Museums of Los Gatos High School Art Contest. All Santa Clara County Public/Charter schools and public pre-school programs were eligible to participate. 28 pieces are being added to the Collection in 2018.
KEY DATES | 2018 YOUNG ARTISTS SHOWCASE SELECTION PROCESS:
February 1 – April 5, 2018 | Submissions of Preschool through 8th grade student artwork/reflection digital files accepted
April 9-13, 2018 | Juried selection of student art work
April 13, 2018 | Winners will be announced online.
April 16-20, 2018 | Notification sent to winners with request to drop off original artwork to SCCOE
May 22, 2018 | Young Artists Showcase Celebration for all grades, 4:30 p.m., SCCOE
