This year at the Santa Clara County Office of Education, we designed many workshops for lower grades, including preschool. This means that workshops with movement, dance, and drama will focus on large motor skills and coordination. Drama-based workshops will strengthen the thinking skills that begin to emerge with young children, including nonverbal reasoning skills.

Do think about this....we will have an entire strand of "preschool art" activities for at the Marion Cilker Conference for Arts Education this November 19th. We have multiple strands for preschool teachers and plan to do so in Fall 2012 as well.
